Jack Endelouz’: “Ain’t Gonna Change My Mind” – Chattanooga, Tennessee

Harmonicas, percussions, guitars, and a bizarre sounding synth lay down, accompanied by a male and female vocal makes for a great song and works on so many levels, and let me tell you why.  Today, we are so indebted to music that features collaborations, remixes, auto-tune, and highly-synthed instrumentation that going back to the basics is the type of music that makes Americans proud to be American – music that has the classic, great, off the cuff style that dominated the 1980s music – that blasé, carefree, talent that said "so long" in 1990.

Ain’t Gonna Change My Mind” is an unpretentious song by Rock artist Jack Endelouz featuring his band Endelouz and it welcomes back real music.  Written from the self-perspective of an artist who dares to grow old or settle for the mundane, this track opens with the heartbeat of America, so to speak, and has a crisp thumping bass drum that runs straight through to the end giving the cut a smooth and bumpy ride.  The majority male lead that is kissed by the soft feminine vocal just makes this song so fun, while the music equally gives off a relaxed dance patterned aesthetic that is non-muddled.

I’m not trying to change your mind (no pun intended) but you know how that simple blazer compliments the wardrobe oh so right?  That blazer that goes with the blue jeans and crisp white cotton shirt?  Well, consider this track to be that blazer of music, or that LBD, as it goes with EVERYTHING.  It’s a contrasting variation mix of Heartland Rock and Roots Rock.
