Kittenhead: “Tinman” Los Angeles, California

It is easy to make a Rock song today, but it is NOT easy to make a Rock song that easily becomes a cult classic – meaning, a song that not only justifies the inner need of the artist but also has enough boom to its bang that it also affects the general population with its message.

Tinman” is a song recorded by Los Angeles based Rock band Kittenhead and it has just that – the boom and the bang.  Amidst the raging guitars, house 808s, and a wide range of distinctive vocals comes a track that is a nonviolent homage to the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Mathew Sheppard, and any/all of those lost too soon by society’s tragic impulsivity and hate.  Promoted at a time when our world is ready for a change, this track is sure to awaken the eyes and hearts of lovers of peace and those willing and able to accept the fact that change is eminent.

Kittenhead consists of: Kivi (vocals/frontwoman), Dede (guitar/bass/backup vocals), Victorya (guitar/bass/backup vocals), and Owen (drums).

With lyrics like “when your gonna stand against hate in society; it’s not democracy; it’s hypocrisy,” their latest track is set to be the band’s anthem song and it trails the same music methodology as Tupac’s 1991 track “Brenda’s Got a Baby,” as the music is written, recorded, and executed to spread awareness to the consequences of social ignorance and social depravity.

There is only ONE race that is superior and that is the HUMAN RACE and this band has the aptitude to make their mark in exerting cultural influence and change.
