James Bakian "Find Me" (single)

Bakian’s latest cut “Find Me” is a R&B ballad with a great command to its beat with plenty of girth when it comes to voice.  Bakian straddles between second tenor and baritone and stays in key and timbre.  The hook and verses relate the story of waiting for love to find you while also indicating the exhaustive passion and confidence it takes to find TRUE love.  Bakian sings:  I’m doing my own thing / Didn’t suspect that you would notice me / Tryna figure out if I still fit in my skin / And I ain’t tryna change / Take me back / Back to the time when I didn’t have a care in the world and I knew I had a purpose / I don’t wanna live in a world where I can’t share my life with somebody who is worth it / I think I’ve found a girl but she gotta find me / Cause I know that one day ima call her baby and I’ll tell her what I want whispering it slowly / When I look at that smile I keep going crazy / I keep dreaming / Always dreaming / It’s a feeling / And I’m meaning / To let you know one day as long you find me . . . Ain’t nobody, ain’t nobody, ain’t nobody / Ain’t nobody make me feel like you do.

The commanding piano and synths lay a musical foundation that illustrates desire, tenderness, and machismo.

Bakian once again places his lead above industry standards by excelling in resonance and depth.  Scaling above Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth, Bakian engages with his audience by placing the passion before the trends.  But since Bakian is such a skilled writer and producer, he still becomes trend-worthy and relevant to his song’s genre.
